Gaspop Reviews
This is the part of my site where I get to do one of my favorite past-times, REVIEWING GAMES!!! And not just any ol' games, Gaspop Softwares funner than hell games!!!

Pluerghburg: Dark Ages
Hell yeah! Those are the only two words I need to describe this game! It's a murder mystery game revolving around the made-up coty, Pluerghburg. You are Jake Mcgurk, a fine detective of the Pleughburg Detective Agency (or PDA for short). Your job is to find out whose behind the several murders that occur throughout the game, but get ready for one hell of a ride! The gameplay is very nice and the music is awesome. Graphics haven't really been a big thing with me, but the things they add that makes the game so cool, like fog effects, day/night effects. I love the attention to detail in the game. Random people will walk around the city streets, just like in a real city! The lighting effects are great, too. The lack of light during the night time makes it feel so creepy and I love that! The puzzles offer a good challenge. Granted, some tend to be very VERY difficult and I feel like smashing my keyboard, it's not frequent and the best thing is there are no dead ends in the game so I never have to restart in the middle of it. And when you do manage to beat those tough puzzles it gives you such a feeling.

Pros: Great gameplay, music, lighting, attention to detail, and puzzles.

Cons: Some puzzles can be really hard at times.

I give this game a 5/5!!!
  Cops & Killers
Such a fun little action game. You play a random cop (who looks like Jake from Pleurghburg: Dark Ages but isn't.) who must rid Pluerghburg of the gangs and hoodlums that infest it. The gameplay is some what difficult to get used to, but when you do it doesn't become an issue. However, the game itself is SO HARD to get passed. I spent three days on the first level. Graphics are kinda neat. The entire level is on one screen, which makes it a little easy to manage the horde of bad guys. The sound and music was alright, but I think it could have been better.

Pros: Okay sound and gameplay.

Cons: Damn hard. Too many bad guys throwing stuff at you.

I give this game a 3/5!!!

Greyger the Cowboy
This game was made by Rover XCU which I think is a branch off of Gaspop. This is a damn fun game and I don't know why. Something about it just makes me giggle with delight. The game play is very simple, which makes it at first seem like a breeze to beat. However, they balance out simple gameplay with difficult levels and no save feature. While some people loathe no save feature, I like it. The game itself is only 10 levels so I don't think a save feature should be needed. Also, it lets you improve on levels that you've already beaten by letting you re-play them. The graphics are just goofy. I love how Greyger jumps, it's kind of funny. There's not really any music and not too much sound effects, so that's sort of a downer. And re-playing the levels too much sometimes gets repetetive and can make you a little angry. Also, some levels can be a little hard and will take some time at winning.

Pros: Fun gameplay and concept.

Cons: Tends to get repetitive. Only has a little sound.

I give this game a 3/5!!!

Revenants Demo
This game popped up out of nowhere! Gaspop says they've had this game on the to do list ever since Pluerghburg: Dark Ages, but didn't speak of it at all! The demo is unbelievable! They've pioneered a new frontier in the AGS community with this one. The story is that your going to see your grandma cause she's kinda sick, but when you get to the town, the entire place is deserted. Now, you must find your grandma. It's a survival horror according to them, which is great because AGS's main function is to make point & click games, so they are bringing some great new innovation to AGS and Gaspop. The gameplay is pretty fun. I'm a big survival horror fan, so this game is right up my alley. The lighting effects are great too. There's less light than in P:DA. In fact, there is practically none!!! You have to use flashlights and other light sources ala the Silent Hill series. The sound is great too! Everywhere you step makes the right kind of noise. If you step on dirt, it makes a dirt sound. If you step on tile, it makes a tile sound. The music is nice and eerie to go along with the dark lighting. In the demo there is only one fight, but it's fun! The guy you fight comes at you and goes through lighting, making him a more difficult target than normal. This game was great if it weren't for this one thing that just pissed me off! IT'S ONLY A DEMO!!!! Why god, oh why!?! I want the whole thing now!!!Why must fate torment me like this!?!?! First Pluerghburg: Asylum and now this!!!NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Pros: Uhhhhh.....everything!!!!

Cons: IT'S ONLY A DEMO!!! WHY!!!!!!

No doubt about it!! 5/5!!!

Calsoon
It's games like these that make Gaspop unique. You play as Tork who is an underwear collecter (???) and accidentally stumbles upon a fanstasy world while trying on a pair. Now he must get back to his world and he has no pants throughout the entire game!!!! I thought this was such a funny idea to have the main character wander in his underwear. The gameplay plays nicely, although there were a few minor glitches in it that don't effect the game.(i.e. Tork not going to where you click and having to find a "sweet spot".) The older graphics this game had were alright, but they made the game look like it was night time. So Chrille (God of Gaspop) re-made it and made it look SOOOOO much better! I was really impressed with the graphics in the remake. The puzzles are not that hard so it offers some good old fashion fun. And the sound and music is about as good as Pleughburg: Dark Ages'. Unfortunately, the game is too short. I didn't have enough time to fully apprietiate the game before I finished it, which is such a major bummer!

Pros: Great new graphics, gameplay, music and puzzles.

Cons: The game is too short!

I'm gonna rate this game 4/5!!!

Calsoon 2
This is what Calsoon 1 should of been!!! This is a game. It takes place after the first, where you find Tork yet again in a strange world and without pants! The gameplay was great. You could change where the GUI is, the scene transition, you can even toggle the snow on or off. The graphics are pretty much the same as the remake of Calsoon 1, so that's not really an issue right now. The music and sound still remains as good as the first so not an issue. The puzzles were definately different than the first, though! In the beginning, the puzzles seem hard and impossible. However, once you start finding items, you trigger stuff that progresses the story, so it's pretty fun. However, the last level in the cave is kind of hard. I had to get some help with that, but it wasn't serious. The best thing about this game is that it was longer than the first!!!!!!!!! HOORAH!!!

Pros: Sort of like the first one only everythings enhanced!

Cons: A few puzzles are hard. Nothing really innovaitive in this one that I couldn't find in Calsoon 1.

How 'bout I give this game a 4/5!!!
