Welcome to the Gaspop Previews section.
This place talks about all upcoming games from Gaspop Software, my favorite independent gaming company! No release dates are posted because I really don't want to update them here. If you want to know about release dates, check in "The Tabloids".

Pluerghburg: Asylum The sequel to Pluerghburg: Dark Ages. "Six years have passed since the events in Pleurghburg: Dark Ages. Jake McUrk has left the Police Detective Agency to start his own detective bureau. Unfortunatley, business hasn't been going to well, and Jake has only been assigned minor cases such as spying on somebody's cheating partner or finding some kid's lost rodent. But when someone asks Jake to investigate the head of the Pleurghburg Mental Asylum, Jake finds himself once again knee deep in trouble. Surrounded by a bunch of armed maniacs, Jake has to find a way out of the Asylum before he becomes their next victim and at the same time prevent them from escaping out into the open."-Gaspop Software
I cannot wait for this game to come out!!!!

"What's the big deal?"- With the success of the first one, the second one is expected to be even better!

Urban Joe " Somewhere in a wacky future, earth is attacked by a wierd alien race known as the Gurglians. Earth manages to fight off the first attack after a rough struggle, but the gurglians have an excellent technique when it comes to cloning units, so they've sent a horde of kamikaze units towards earth. It's up to Urban Joe and his super-soldier friends to infiltrate the enemy dimension and destroy the cloning devices in order to stop the Gurglian's evil plans."-Gaspop Software
I have yet to see the trailer of this so I can't really respond to it yet, but the screenshots look great.

"What's the big deal?"- This is a game similar to Gaspop's much older Mac games (Death poop, scary, etc...), so Gaspop veterans will probably appretiate this game.

Revenants "Peter Stunch looked up into the grey sky as he ran towards the mailbox. He thought it weird that the rain seemed to be pouring down without any hint to an end. He also didn't like wet mail, and he'd been getting it for what he felt was about a year, but in reality was two weeks. He couldn't remember any summer even remotely resembling this one. The year was 1954 and the French were fighting the Vietnamese, he read about it almost every day in the local paper. He had always been interested in international politics.

He looked down at the soaking mail in his hand, sighed, and hurried back inside. Walked over to the kitchen table and sat down, wiping the water from his face. He looked around for the knife he used to open the mail, why couldn't he ever find his things? Hmm, he looked at the mail again. A letter from his grandma was on the little pile on the sturdy table. He hadn't seen her for years; he felt a bit bad about it but started to open it with his finger. It wasn't a very happy letter, grandma was ill and needed help. And the weather was so depressing, it was basically raining all over the south-eastern United States, maybe he should go and see her, she could use some company.

Peter calls his boss and asks for some time off, his boss was always a nice guy and so gives Peter two days off from work to go see his old grandma. He thought, since I'm only going for two days I don't need to bring much, just some essentials. He turns the lights out and walks out to his car. Soon he's out on the road, heading for Lindoom, the small village he used to go to during the summer as a kid, to stay a couple of weeks with his grandparents. He missed his grandfather, he had died some years ago now, but Peter had no trouble remembering the fishing trips they used to make, those were good times.

A good number of hours later Peter turns onto the small gravel road that leads to Lindoom. The forest is very thick and everything is really dark, the only light is from the headlights on his car. He can hear the wind blowing through the trees and the occasional bird, he seems to have forgot all about the mind numbing sound from the rain against the roof of his car. He doesn't meet a single car on the small road, but he guesses that's because of the late hour. Finally… Peter sees the south wall of the old bar. Weird, as he remembered it there was always light in the bar, but now everything is dark. Come to think of it, he sees no people or light whatsoever. These people were never afraid of a little rain, and certainly didn't mind late nights, and it was a Friday! They should all be out. But it's all quiet…too quiet…"-Gaspop Software

"What's the big deal?"- I've played the demo of this game and simply loved it! I expect big things for this game!
