Our top story.
I've been adding color to the Revenants drawing. I've also been drawing "X" androids, which are characters from my comic that I'm still planning. I may or may not post the drawings on the web, depending on if I finish and like it. Also, I've been working on these quickly made comics called "Speedy Comics". I drew them when I was damn bored. They will start out with a super hero named Super Stu, but later on I may mold the story in a different direction. I'll post those on a seperate site and set up a link to it on this site.

What's New with Gaspop?
I had a talk with Gaspop Man himself, Chrille Blomqvist, and set up an interview to talk about one of his new upcoming games Pluerghburg: The Asylum. Here is that very interview now:

Me: What made you want to make a sequel to Pleurghburg: Dark Ages?

Chrille: Before Dark Ages was started, I wanted to make a game set in the Asylum. It was originally going to be an AGI game starring Jake McUrk, but I ended up planning Dark Ages instead and used AGS. Since P: DA was a success and I had a fun time making it, I figured that it would be fun to make a sequel, using some of the ideas I thought of before I started working on P: DA.

Me: What might be expected in this game?

Chrille: Hmm, not as much clue searching and slightly more action.

Me: Is there a chance we'll see some old faces as well as some new ones?

Chrille: I haven't fully decided yet, but probably not, other than Jake of course.

Me: How big do you think the game will be?

Chrille: I can't tell exactly at this point whether it will be longer than P: DA or not.

Me: Will the fighting system be more in-depth?

Chrille: There will be some scenes where you have to react quite fast, but I'll try to make it as simple as possible so that people who dislike action can get past it without too much problems.

Me: I noticed a more enhanced version of Jake McUrk in a picture. Will you use the enhanced Jake or will you stick with the classic version?

Chrille: The enhanced version.

Me: Will there be mini-games or sub-quest in the game?

Chrille: That hasn't been decided yet.

Me: Will you get to explore the city of Pluerghburg, or will you be restricted to the Asylum for the most part?

Chrille: The first part of the game will allow you to explore the city like in P: DA, but later on, most action will take place in the Asylum.

Me: Is there a possible chance that Jake will have a partner in this one like he did in the original?

Chrille: That hasn't been decided either.

Me: Can we expect Asylum at a certain release date, or is it still too early in production to tell?

Chrille: Unfortunatley it's still too early in production. The game is still being planned and we feel we're in no rush to finish it anytime soon as there are several other interesting projects in the works. But The Asylum will probably be released sometime next year.

Well that's the whole interview. I hope you learned more about Asylum than you did before this. Later!
